Oh noes! I'm trying to improve my artz skillz.

Anywho, I'm offering a free sketch to the first ten people who comment and ask for one. The sketches will be complete and will be done in pen. Basically they'll be lineart, just slightly sketchier. My art skills aren't the best, so don't expect perfection, but I'll try my best.

However, in return, you must offer 10 free sketches/doodles/drawings in your own journal. If you've already done 10 Free Sketches, simply link the journal entry in your comment... You still qualify.

01 - I will not draw your request until I see this in your journal. Requests may take a while, I'm slow with drawing and want to get it right for you.

Just wanted to quickly update the sketch conditions, mainly because while I've started to lay down a composition for the one I have I'm also spending the weekend working on an entire realistic portrait that was due yesterday.

I'm working on the sketch, but it'll be slow due to my procrastination with it and with my graded art assignments. But of course, it is still open to anyone who wants a sketch.

Alright, I haven't updated in forever. Anywho, I'm making this to say that I'll be adding some art and lit soon. Art class is helping me with some stuff, and I should be getting PSP or Photoshop soon so I can do lineart of characters and then colour them.

Well, I've been in Japan for about two weeks now and everything has been going pretty well. We had a typhoon and got out of school for Thursday and Friday and we got into our new house on Friday. I now officially have a room and a desk. We don't have a computer in the house yet, but we should get it within the next week.

On the artistic news side of things I've managed to start really working on some drawings. Art class has taught me a little more about adding depth to my drawing so I'm going to add a few experimental pieces of art to my gallery and rework a few of my older pieces.

Since I haven't had access to a computer to put writing up on dA I've got a backlog of poems and a short story or two to put up here. Other than that, nothing too exciting is going on. So, breaking from my normal ending for my journals I'll just put a quote to spice things up.

One thing that I'll never get used to is the waiting. I find that I'm constantly waiting for something. Today I'm waiting for a reply to an email. I have no clue why it bothers me so much, yet I feel that I am cut off from my friends the longer I wait and it drives me insane.

Anywho, now that that's off of my chest let's move on. School sucks as always, I find that I'm bored already and I hate my classes because they can't provide an adequate challenge. I'd rather be writing or reading than sitting listening to a repeat of the things I already know. Personal Fitness has become my favorite class because it allows me to think while doing simple manual tasks.

At least the people are nice and I have a few friends. In the temporary housing building that we're in there is this nice girl who tries to flirt with me whenever I'm out on my own. It's actually a little funny, because I can't think of anything that I've done to cause that behavior.

I've been writing a lot recently though and will have another short story up as soon as I have time to find a computer that isn't firewalled from putting it up.
